CLASSES
Kids Sewing Camps
Class Dos
*Sign up early for classes. Instructor will cancel classes if minimum is not
met. If you do pay and minimum is not met, you will receive a full refund.
*Do sign up for classes you can come to. If you must cancel, do so 5 days before
class time. After that time, no refund will be given.
*Do come alone to class. No guest or children.
*Do bring your supplies on the supply list to class marked with your name.
Supplies left in classroom with no name become property of the classroom.
*Do be on time, but it is not necessary to arrive more than 15 minutes early.
The instructor will arrive 30 minutes before class and will need time to setup.
*Do pay for class ahead of time. NO ONE is enrolled until class fee is paid.
*Do
purchase a pattern or a book. Due to copyright laws, everyone taking a class will need
to purchase a pattern or book if used by instructor.

Recognizing Quality Embroidery Designs

Learn to recognize the
qualities of a good design before you send it to your machine. You will
learn how to use your software to recognize designs with proper underlay, pull
compensation, and stitch flow.

Understanding Basic Digitizing Techniques

Pre-requisite for this
class - Recognizing Quality Embroidery Designs
Learn how to use basic digitizing tools to create quality designs with adequate
underlay, logical stitch flow, and limited jump stitches. We will discuss
editing designs, how and when to add underlay, using column fill for creative
design sections and the complexities of complex fill. Fancy-
works Studio is the demonstration program for this class, but this is general
information that will apply to any "manual punch" digitizing program. If
you are new to digitizing or have been doing this for a while, this class will
give you a new way to look at creating original designs.
